Volume XI: off your ass the Tele's Dead
There is war breaking out throughout the Gaza, people are starving on every corner of the earth, jobs are lost, crime is up, and the year in review looks like a smiting from God. But now escapism and truthiness are on the verge of collapse. The magic box that informs us of the madness and helps us escape this very madness is in trouble. On the eve of the new year New York Time Warner subscribers received a scrolling message on certain channels letting them know they would no longer be able to get Viacom Networking. This includes MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, & Comedy Central. The laziest of people raised their eyebrows and knocked over their beers at the shock of loosing their Daily Show and Spongebob Squarepants. Starting Jan 1st 2009 Time Warner people will be out of luck. This is all do to negotiations between Time Warner and Viacom crumbling. Quick reports have shown that talks are doomed.
Time Warner sucks, like really sucks. Like 15 dollars to replace your remote that never worked anyway...sucks. Like calling and saying your internet is slow and hearing "so?". Sucks. TW charge so much money for basic cable and their government endorsed monopoly has made it so that there is no compettion in the area. It's not that TV is really that important anymore, one can look at the Boob Tube on the internet. But when you look how much your going to have to pay for just Internet through TW, paying for cable isn't that much more. Although the crappy connection TW provides will now be clogged with more internet goings since they won't be watching their shows via cable. Most consumers will cancel or just not use the the cable service. Even at the loss of their beloved NY1; Although we still might be able to catch "in the papers" online (kickass).
THE POINT
The point is this: the giant corporations that have ruled our lives are collapsing and instead of being liberated from their evil ways, we will suffer! At all levels we will feel the pain of loosing basic services. It starts with your bank being dumb, your job being lost, your inability to get cars or car parts, your media lost, your public transportation costing to much to ride, and your safety being threatened. All of this will lead up to problems with your electricity and your water. The people in charge will not help you when they are not making millions, especially when you have no money to give. We must work together and focus on services for human function and social order. It is imperative that we start building something better for the future. Our 2008 has shown how much we have lost. May we find a way to be better than generations before us and fix what is broken.

This preparation for the new year,
But it seems that our clocks have all but stopped.
We all seem stuck at one second to midnight
Hands are raised ...
the great pendulum swinging
Only our cogs are all quiet inside
And the bells from earlier hours...
have been forgotten
What has caused this long pause?
this never ending interim
Were we wound to tight?
and our springs sprung
Are we Broken?
Let us look up to the sky
And see that it is time

Volume XI: Greek (we) Revolt
Something has happened in Greece one of the birthplaces of civility. People are running through the streets, cars are burning, TV stations are overrun, and signs are hung from the Acropolis. "Revolt" the people and sign say, "Revolt".
What has happened here? Something has happened. It has all changed. Not just in Greece, not just in Europe, but the world. The Greeks are fighting because their governments army is out of control. The destructive nature of this army has lead to the death of a teenage boy and thus the rage of a society. Even as the news tries to show the horrible burning of once beautiful places the idea of a "revolt" doesn't seem offensive. Civil unrest is not being looked down on by society. Something has happened.
Will historians have a clear catalyst for the difference or will they call all this a footnote for something that never spread; that these Greeks were not from seeds of something new.
And what of us. What have we done? Have we "Changed"? We voted for "Change", but have we. So far we have lost our economies, lost our jobs, and erased our futures (401k). What has happened? Have we stood up? Have we run through the streets and put up signs? Or have we just waited...waited for systems to fix itself. It is clear our leaders can duck and dodge insults, but can they fix this? Are we to keep waiting while it all comes to a stop? 10.3 million of us are now out looking for something to give, yet no one is helping. The ones at the top are still trying to figure out what happened. They ponder "why did the cards fall" as we know the truth of it all. The bosses at the top have not planned for the future, so we must.
But what will happen? Will it be torches of anger or voices of progress? Are we locked up waiting for January 20th, 2009? Is that when we try?
What do we do till then?
It's beginning to snow are we ready for winter?
I hope so.
Something has happened. Society has "changed". What once were just countries became worlds, and a small flame an ocean of fire.

Volume XI: Continual WTF
American consumerism(capitalism) is not dead. Don't be fooled by the news reports. People are buying as shown by closing announcement made by KB stores on Friday. KB toys stores all over America were mad houses. Seas of people crawling all over each other to get the super liquidating sales of 20-50% off. The insanity has continued through the weekend showing that American shoppers are cheap not dead. you've been tracking that Hanna Montana Doll on EBay just go to KB and get it. It will get you outside and into the shopping holiday experience. So its a cheap Xmas(Holiday) this year and that's okay. If those luxury items have to be sold for a little cheaper this year to break even, so be it. Plus if Americans actually start to look at prices as oppose to slick marketing campaigns then we will have a smarter nation. A nation that knows that taking a jet one week and a hybrid the next does not make you a better person, it makes you a PR stunt.
Man oh man can the big 3 be any stupider. Not only are they the sinister CEOs we all thought, they are also completely idiots. "I drove a hybrid this week can I have 34 million instead of 25 million." Good God! When did decency and trust get lost to dollars and cents (I am guessing a long time). None of the Big 3 (& modern CEOs in general) have built an institution for the American economy. What they have built are heartless global machines that not even the Maytag man can fix. If the Big 3 thought in the last few years about American workers they could have kept their pyramid scheme. (Big 3: "I'll work for a dollar a year if I can keep my job."-a dollar a year you made to much money off of the blue collar backs, your out.) Instead the Big 3 will get money from the government to keep alive a business that hasn't helped the American people and will put most of its work force onto the streets. Why not skip giving these huge sums of money out to irresponsible companies and just give it to the blue collars that need it? What so bad with bailing out consumers that actually understand that now they have to save? Like everyone gets a month free of rent or mortgage payments. I bet in one month we cold all relax and breath for a moment. With this rejuvenation we could take on these problems together as a nation instead of the good old boys of the past.

XI: Bailout Continues
$250 Billion for the Banks
$40 Billion for American International Group
So the obvious question with these large sums of money is what's up with AIG & when am I going to get some green?
AIG has reportedly used this 40million to have a super expensive retreat n Dana Point, CA & a trip to England on a partridge hunt.
As for the american consumer, well help isn't exactly coming any time soon. We have to get in line behind the auto makers and basically every other private corporation. (Wait for Walmart they'll be they'll be there soon.) In the mean time if you haven't lost your job already, consider yourself lucky. American's jobless shot up to a 14 year high of 6.5% for Oct. So we look to the over site committies; unfortunately, for them and us it's a near impossible task. You can't give the corporation who are in a sense small governments large sums of money and know exactly what they are doing with it. Namely if the company knows its going under anyway contracts with the company are irrelevant. Might I suggest having contracts with each individual companies shareholder & executives; so if one of these individuals uses the funds for self greed then jail time or their personal funds are options for justice. (The problems with over site in general is that they really get data to late and that data could be corrupt. An on the ground task forces should be created to watch these mini governments going forward).
As we approach what must be the end of the way a free market is run let's think of structures to put in place: 1) corporations should never be allow to have so much control. This includes where & when they produce their goods. Its not regulation its safety. 20 Corporation should never have had the same rights as individuals 3) companies who create energy efficient ways of doing this in the us should be rewarded. 4) New types of worker safe industries should always be over promoted by the government. 5) we should cap how mush money individual executives make (they should never make more than God as they do now. I mean come on some make 1.7 million. What are you doing that's worth that much. Hire like 10 rich people to do one job.)
Hope Congress has some better insight today.

Volume X: HIM
Ben’s Chronicle
We’ve got our weapons right here, right here, right here
Got our sites set on you, what do you do, how do you choose
If you don’t want to live in fear, in fear, this is fear
We’ve got to mobilize ourselves, ourselves, in this hell
We’ve waited such a long time
It’s never the wrong time to do what’s right
It’s time we draw our verbal swords
And declare a civil war
I woke up this morning and everything had changed
It was rearranged by just one name
He had a skip in his step, but for the world he wept
He wanted difference and something called...
Change
Change
We all must change
We’ve wounded the Gods
And now it’s time for the plan
We are the free ones
The Revolution has begun
He spoke from inside and had a gleam in his eye
He reminded me of why we try
He said hope is the word and the way
And together we are not...
Afraid
Afraid
We are not afraid
Got a fist for a hand
The revolution has come
Got 71 more days
I said the revolution has come
No more darkness
We’ve got a leader with a light
(He’s) Got a voice, that cuts through the night
Justice he’ll procure
And we will endure
It time we fight
We Fight
And Fight
It’s time to fight
If you don’t want to live in fear, in fear, in fear
We have to mobilize ourselves, ourselves, ourselves

Volume X: Crossroads to Burn
Words for Ohio: "if you screw this up like Florida did in 2000, your out. You & Florida can have your own country and call it whatever, Flohio, or just CRAP."
So what do we do if Jorah McPalin wins? Well I imagine our apathy will final end & we will commence the revolution, right? Right!? One would think that the idea 4-8 more years of: the rich not being taxed, corporate conglomerates, Insurances agencies, children being clearly left behind, a never ending war, steeling of elections, social injustice, crimes against nature, crimes against humankind, and just pure evil, would ensure the emotional fuel needed.
Would (will) we rise up? Take the steps to fight? Would we stand up against the republican controlled army? Stop this SS from feeding us poison from the foods & from Fox news. Does it all have to burn so we can start a new? Am I breaking the (soon to be) laws by saying this? Why must we live in fear? This is your country! it is your responsibility to make it better for your family, your friends, your neighbors, and every person on the planet. People are looking to "you" to make the difference. So make the differences. Decide! If Obama doesn't win what will you do?
This is my response:
Marching Song
This is not a protest song
This is to right what has become wrong
This is our war
See the bombs bursting in the air
Above our fare cities, but no one cares
Won't you join me and we'll go marching!
I raise my sign and out their names
Of the executives and politicians
Who bring the world such shame
Won't you join me and we'll go marching!
So we can bring them down
Our soldier are alone
Let them know there's a war at home
Out from the Television, Off the page
We'll save them all from an early grave
We haven't forgotten about the tea
We still know ho to brew some hot liberty
Won't you join me and we'll go marching
We'll go marching two by two, Horrah!, Horrah!
Not for fame or fortune, but because we care
Won't you join me and we'll go marching!
So we can bring them down
I march to the beat of a different drum
We will not turn, we will not run
They may turn on the hoses and send in the dog
But this is a problem we can surely solve
See the bombs busting in the air
Above our fare cities and we should all care
Oh, won't you join me and we'll go marching!
So we can bring them...down

Volume VVV: Transmission November 26th 2009.
On December 21st the USS Mississippi sailed into the Gulf of Mexico and on December 22nd pulled into Galveston Harbor. The harbor was still heavily covered by National Guard and the army reserve from the hurricane early in the year. Soldiers on the docks were very tired from helping squelch an uprising from Galveston residents whose banks reposesed their homes earlier in the week. On the USS Mississippi a group of sailors began removing shoot 15's torpedo for scheduled maintenance when something went horribly wrong. The torpedo somehow went off sending flames through the lower part of the ship. The shrapnel from this explosion immediately hit an adjacent torpedo and caused it to go off. A massive explosion shoot out the side of the vessel. Pieces of metal flew miles away. Crewmen tried to contain fires that sprung up from the falling hot metal, but the fires quickly grew in size and started consuming the entire dock. The National Gaurd and Naval men scrambled to move artillery in cases sitting on the dock, but it was too late. The fires first reached bombs that were to be loaded onto the USS Mississippi. There was an explosion. A huge fireball was seen & felt by half of Houston. Mass confusion set in.
Initially the news had no idea what to report.
Mike Jenkins reporting for Local Fox News reported onsite: "it looks like we're being fired upon down here...those fire balls in the sky look like missiles". (Mike would later realize that it was pieces of metal from the dock explosion.) These few words spiraled into Fox & CNN reporting, "we have heard reports that's Galveston is under attack". Video images from local news channels showed the rain of fiery metal over & over again. public was confused as to whether it happened live or whether it was previously taped. Obama, McCain, and the President all heard these reports. The president feeling the loss for his party in the recent elections quickly took action. President Bush picked up the phone and called his friend in South Houston. His friend, an unnamed source, said they didn't know what was going on, but it seemed that things were still exploding. His friend said that he has heard reports that a ship was "firing from the Gulf of Mexico".
Bush didn't hesitate, he asked his advisors to place him on National Television immediately. Bush quickly spoke to Cheney & Rice and then went live.
Bush begins: "My fellow Americans something tragic and evil has happened in Galveston, Texas. Reports are...not clear at this time. (Bush takes a long pause). But what is clear is that an act of "Terror" has happened. I will work with the men and women of every part of our government to defend our great nation. We will hunt down the culprits and defend America against terrorist attack. For these reasons I declare Martial Law... This will be for a limited basis and normal government will be restored once we are safe again..."

Volume X: SNL Smells
I guess what was most disappointing is the fact that Tina plays Sarah so well. Her talent knocked SNL from the top. Marky Mark & Alec mystaking Sarah for Tina was all to real. Tina says completely crazy sounding things that unforunately are true. No script required. It's all to perfect. So the dumb parts of America actually thought Sarah was already on SNL when Tina first appeared. The republicans saw this errie problem & needed to deflate it.
"How do we deflate it" wondered the gop, "let's make SNL bow to us, like America has for 8 years". So Sarah gets to scare Alec to eat his words, Tina to just leave the stage, and Loren Michael gets to keep his show in the new Republican world. I wonder if Tina feels she can do the impersination anymore with such shame hanging over her. I would want to retired after being the funniest person to sell out ever.
As for Sarah's second spot on SNL; well the rap was funny but worthless for her involvement. I would have liked if the show hadn't began so pourly.
Oh SNL its back to not watching you again. I hope that one day you can stop sucking and regain the humor you so inspired.

Volume X: Thoughts on the last debate
This debate cleared up some questions for Republicans & undecides concerning Barack's ACORN relation. Barak set the record strait about his relationship with the weatherman and the acorn folks. But even after Barack explained the details, John would not accept them. Questions on Barack's relationship are not answerable by anyone because John & Republicans want only one answer: "my names Barack Obamo & because I am black I have a secret mission to enslave all u white people. I work with terrorist & other religions to achieve this objective". Well I got news for you GOP, Barack can't enslave you cause you're to old to work anyways. GOP why must you keep this sick side of humanity in your heart. Why can't you see Obama desires to really help this country? A desire that has driven many to register just as your hockey-mom has done.
One thing I can't figure out with the GOP is how much their message is hypocritical. John & his Republicans keep saying we "will not raise your taxes". But during the biggest financial crisis since the depression where will you get the money. Your proposals cost more so who will pay for it. You cannot reallocate because you have promise to not stop the wars. You can't simply cut basic functions such as: health education and transportation. So who will get a tax increase. Everyone! Even Baracks discussed plan is not truly possible for a 4y ear presidency. His not tax for under 250k just can't last. The work force knows how to work and our tax money has built this place so no one is except from this mess.
You know who has made out good during this financial crisis "joe six pack". Just a few weeks ago he was a deadbeat drunk and now he's a plumber who wants to buy his company. Both candidates should & could learn something from his entrepreneurialship. Joe six pack/joe-the-plumber was John's go to against Barack, but it didn't really work out so well. Barak said he would stick with his outlined plan so people like Joe could save for the level that Joe's achieved faster.
A message for Joe strait from the economist or people who think about money: now is a really bad time to do large risky business ventures. If u have the cash wait till the value goes down & buy low. But really save your money. If your right above 250k spending money is not the right thing you do. If you do due decide to take the business venture. See about salaries for yourself & an assistant. This would help lower your overall gain. Check about joe the plumber inc.
As for these two men that voiced sanity and madness there is but one choice. Barack may not be the liberal king we all want, (people like Nadar have to be the underdogs) but he will get us closer to the society we claim ourselves to be. This is suppose to be the home of the free & the brave; a place for the weak & tired to come. Barack can get the ball rolling. If we choose the old man all will age and nothing will ever change.
Vote True, Vote Right, Vote Barack on the Tues!

Volume X: Wish I missed "that one"
As for you McCain your just nuts. Each plan he suggested for financial system you listed cost middle & lower income more money. Especially that damn health tax plan. Do you know how to do math? My personal medical bills have averaged $8,000 a year and you wanna give me only $5000. Do the math! I still need $3000; who am I going to get that from? To top it all off you attack Barrak because he wants to fine parents that don't provide their kids free health care. Sounds like motivation to me.
Barrak I was a little confused and worried when you brought up 911 for the "Sacrifice" question. Bringing up 911 is a republican thing. Don't do that again. I think I saw you catch yourself after you said it, but you had to go with it cause you mentioned it. McCain you thought that eliminating programs was the answer. Ok, fine, might I suggested your health tax plan. (Reasons listed above.)
McCain, when did Nuclear Power plants become green. Last time I checked the waste was the worst thing on the planet and still may ultimately destroy us. Stop telling people it's safe! Also, just to feed into your constant bringing up of terrorist, wouldn't it be bad to have more processed Uranium around.
Barrak go on with your wind powered self.
The rest of the debate between John and Barrak was pretty boring. I wish there was a better way to say it, but clearly the ADD nation can't focus outside of 10 minute intervals, or maybe just me.
I do have one thing that must be made clear. Both of these men need to start leading now. They need to stop fighting with each other: stop correcting, stop doing ads, stop the bull. They have to now face this great problem. Barrak this is for you to show your the right choice to anyone out there who is still hung up on race, Muslim, terrorist stuff. Focus in on delivering the speech and just ignore John.
John you need to allow the man who will lead the majority to do his job. At some point I thought you meant well, but that is no longer clear, so I must ask you to just step aside. And beside you mocked Barbara and that can never been forgiven!
next debate is 10/15. Time to make "change" and "lead"!

Those of you playing the Palin drinking game last night are most likely feeling worse than your first college party. Your still passed out on the coach and have yet to even called in sick to work. If she said "also" or "Maverick" one more time you might of had to have your stomach pumped...maybe you still do. Silly people, you knew it was going to be bad and yet drinking didn't make it good. We all know an hour in, the glass was to heavy and you had to pretend for the rest of the game.
Anyway Sarah began during the hand shake by asking Biden, "can I call you Joe." (He should have said "no".) Critics are already saying she put the folksy into the debate. Folksy is John Denver not "talk like an idiot". Sarah, if you dumb down your linguistics anymore we may have to create a new word "Palinbilly". And as the theme from Deliverance (Dueling Banjos) played Sarah laid it out for us.
Palin: I am freaking nuts.
Biden: I am old fart who actually voted for the people
Palin: I might be legally retarded
Biden: I actually know facts.
Palin: Obama voted for this bill and that's bad
Biden: McCain did also, dumbass!
Biden obviously won this debate. He pulled out the old "I actually know what I am talking about" trick. At one point I could see the vein just throbbing from his head as Sarah kept saying stupid shit and lieing on various subjects. I know we all wanted Biden to really lay into her, but he did a good job. He also (drink), wasn't that long winded as per usual. Sarah was not as funny as the Katie Couric interview. (which by the way does not make Katie Couric a good journalist. It's just happenstance that Katie got someone so amusing and that's why we keep watching it.)
Sarah flipped on so many questions. She almost hung herself with the lets "drill", drill, drill and save the environment. Yes, Sarah, tapping our oil reserve would bring jobs temporarily, but it also bring about the destruction of our planet. So it won't matter that Mommy and Daddy have jobs their children won't have a planet to grow up in.
I think Joe final got the huge edge when he got a little emotional about being a single parent. I totally felt his pain even though I have 0 kids. America has to know that he truly doesn't want single parents to struggle and will die trying to make things just a little better. Joe's stride at the end may have been a little to late with American's all having ADD. He needs to work on his sound bites. More "single parent" Joe, that will keep you on the defensive side even though I wish you had just kicked her ass!
As for you Sarah I am have only one piece of advise. Go look up the word Maverick and go use your bridge to nowhere!
Also(drink), big props to the Gwen Ifill for nailing the moderator position. She was an all star and should moderate the rest of the debates. Don't watch the other debates on CBS if I get another survivor ending right before the debate or crazy split screen flip I am going to go crazy.

Volume X: Master Debated
Hey my grandpa talked on TV last night and so did the next President of the United States.
Like a normal beginning of an argument for taking ones pills, the debate unfolded. (Why should you take your meds? well if you don't you go crazy or you die. So here's something to swallow.)
Obama started with the "thank yous" to this that and the other, and then went right into; "we have heard about wall street, but those of you on main street have been struggling for a long time." He continued talking about our current crisis in the financial sector, pushing that he would help the common man.
John on the other hand started with his "thank yous" and said "a sad note, Senator Kennedy is in the hospital...". Huh? (Now it is very troubling that Kennedy was sent to the hospital, although reports up until and even after the debate said "not that serious", (Fox News),) One main problem with this John, you have to have not been one of Kennedy's mortal enemies. By bringing it up, it just look like you are beggin' for votes and trying to distract from the fact that your not a very good person.
The whole night John just kept muttling through what must of been some prepared notes. I wanted to do a back and forth with commentary between Obama and John, but John was so hard to follow. At one point towards the end I found myself having bobble head when he began to talk. I just couldn't keep my eyes open.
Now don't be mislead by what the reports and what other politicians said about this debate. Don't even believe Giuliani: (McCain) "Taught Obama about foreign policy". Taught him, really? cause John was acting crazy towards Obama on this issue of wanting to meet with the Iranian President without preconditions. Preconditions being the past 8 years of "with us or against us"(King George), mentality. I believe wanted to work with someone to avoid WW3 or another attack on us is worth changing this foreign policy. This situation would be about trust not about being proud. As for preperations I am sure the great speaking Obama can find away to prepare for something. John, you, on the other hand didn't look prepared for this long debate.
John, you said, in regards to the financial agreement, that you would impliment, once president, a "spending freeze" except for our military. Obama wants to keep at least some programs that are important such as "education...". If we stop services such as education we will become a dictatorship. To learn more about what a dictatorship, John, see North Korea. I thought you new of them.
Continuing under the same discussion Obama said we need to cut private insurance, undo the 10 billion dollars we keep spending on the Irag War, and take the money away from the rich few and give it to the people. -Thank you Robin Hood. John you said: we should add "49 Nuclear Plants" which will create 700, 000 jobs. (700,000, mmh I know that number is that the number we are giving to rich people for screwing our economy.) If we create 49 nuclear plants than we won't have to worry about 700,000 people cause the chances of something bad are pretty high. Also, it is now know that even medical physilities are having trouble disposing of nuclear waist, leaving enough uranium for a giant bomb sitting in a broom closet. -And you want to create more Nuclear Waste. That kinda stuff does not win over the middle; Nuclear meltdown is still bad. Might I suggest some reading or watching on Chernobyl.
On the discussion on the "lesson's learned from Irag", Obama clarified his position on the military: "never hesitate
use the military... use it wisely." And John, you went off about troop surge and Obama doesn't support the use of military.
-I have no idea, that old man is crazy. Truly I couldn't keep note of what John was saying. He reminds me of what happens when your friend drinks to much. Your friend still talks, but yet you have no idea what he is saying.
Now it is true that it wasn't a knock out punch for Obama, but that was because you aren't suppose to hit an old man. With Old people you have to hold there hand and be respectful, which I think was shown by Obama. But the world wants the left to take a final swing at the right and take back humanity for the "people and by the people."
Dear Senator Obama,
we, the just., herby authorize the use of force. You have permission to out talk, over talk, and show an old man that the young are now in charge again. Please for the people who have lost it all from the war and from the private companies that are still chewing on us, go out and win!

Oh the huvanity -Maxim gives it to Palin
Maxim Magazine rates Palin 2nd on their top 10 World's Hottest Politicians list.
I know, I just throw up in my mouth too. Like 5 times for so many reason why this is wrong.
For one thing the list highlights how sexist we truly are. Constant obsession with physical attributes, especially with woman, has kept us from evolving into something better. Being a politician should not be a beauty pageant (I am talking to you Arnold). Politicians should be made fun of (thanks Tina) and not objectified like a celebrity such as Paris or Britney (talking to you MacCain). I don't give a care what someone looks like for getting a job done. When will our culture stop focusing on things like this? Are we truly that lost?
So how do we solve.
This is a form of cultural vanity and is very hard to beat. Anyone can fall victim to these types of things.
If we try and make someones' actions sexy than we might have a chance. Such as, idolizing our Nobel Prize winners for their intellectual abilities, being excited for our athletes because they have tuned their bodies to perfections (not because they look so darn good), and generally worry about real issues, not what's in the trash mags. That's the short solve. It will take alot more to move a society away from the trivial and into the sublime.

Constant Sorry of a tumbling stock
How did we get to this? Well "we" all know; its a never ending war, it's the greed of human kind, and the stupidity in our nature. People have been lossing big for 7 years now. Some have lost their homes and some have lost their lives; some from nature and some from men. The nobles have again lead us away from the path of righteuousness. They have used their tricks of god & country to take from us until there is nothing left to take. I say that our recent rebellion has cause these currencies to fail. "Why feed the machine" some kept saying; "why support that which is wrong".
So how can we solve. Well I think that most of us have already done so. We are taking from the rich, now we just need to give to the pour. The fat cats got a little taste of what's it's like to be middle class everyday and unfortunately the middle class had another bad day. But in these dark hours of a growing black monday let us not fear.I don't need to give into the system to live or even have nice things.I am above the system. Imagine this, if we just started trading between ourselves and creating a new form of trade. One not yet correpted by the best advertisement. Let's us form an economey that is "for the people and by the people" so that we can truely have control (at least for a little while).

Guides to Club Night
Research:
1)Know what sort of club it is & what you should wear. Note death metal night is not a good time to wear a polo
1.2) If the theme or name of club has any of the following words in the title consider your involvement a "Maybe": hardcore, deathly, gangster, huppy, softcore, dirty, hammer, dolly, purple, fish, super danger fire.
Fashion:
2) Try your outfit on the day before you go out; don't wait till an hour before. One reason is that those leather pants you wore for Halloween 4 years ago may not fit. (Also leather pants don't have front pockets & leave no room for your keys, wallet, phone, and your unmentionables.) With this in mind having muffin top cover your studded belt in no way will pass as sexy.
2.5) make sure you are comfortable in your outfit; it should not be the kind of outfit that will get your beat up on your own stoop. If you do not take this to heart at least try and wear things without hooks or rings. Hooks & rings can be use to turn you into a human pinata.
2.7) sub fashion: don't wear netted shirts. It was good for the cutie next door, but when your the only one in it on goth night, your lame.
Timing:
3) clubs open late. I mean late late; Like past when your going to stay up watchin TV while your girlfriend falls asleep. The Colbert Report is not one late!
3.2) Again, clubs open late. So when you arrive at 9pm (doors at 10 or 11p) and are standing outside alone, your lame and exposed. The people at the Chinese restaurant next door will let you know this. (Note Chinese food makes black look bad and is hard to whip out; please smelling like Chinese food sucks.)
Dancing
4) for god sakes no one knows how to Madison. And that swing you think you know, doesn't fly as club dancing. Also, nsync moves are not cool, nor are Justin timperlakes unless your Justin timperlake. Leave choreography to professionals. Do not attempt anything you saw from the Fly Girls on In Living Color. They had J-Lo. No Cabbage patch!
4.2) If you can't dance be in charge of drinks. Get people so liquored up they won't know you can't dance.
4.4) stepping side to side like a junior high slow dance is also not dancing
4.5) Refrain from saying: "I'm gonna get my grove on", "Rockin", "it's hammer time", "work it", and "I'm a disco machine"
Singing:
5. Singing non theme nights is unacceptable outside of "decade nights". Example; you can sing "you spin me like a record baby" only on 80's or modern night. You cannot sing this song on hip hop night. It does not make sense. Plus people shouldn't sing. You're there to dance. Few places in NYC have a dance license, you can go to karaoke next week.
Ordering
6) don't be an ass. If it's not a beer place don't freak out cause they don't have Six Point. Your life of drinking alone at your local pub does not validate all bars having your beverage.
6.1) Ask what are in the nights specials. If the cocktail does not say what's in it, your to grown up to drink it. This includes anything with lots of sugar.
6.3) No shots. If you are not use to dancing & drinking all the time you'd be advised to not take the shot. This, as well as the sugar drinks is a lesson best not learned.
Communications:
7) you have not gotten smoother as you've gotten old. Best to stay near your friends, cause those pretty/handsome people don't need you, an "irregular", using your best pickup line. (Note even though most of these people are young, old 80's movie pickup lines are definitely a no no. Molly Ringwald does not go to clubs, and besides you only had a chance in a dream with her type of girl. Also see anthony micheal hall)
7.1) If you want to get the 411 on your friend might I suggest a coffee shop. You already say "whhat" a lot outside the club, you need not say it 4 times for one sentence.
7.3) Just nod and ask people if they want a drink<-this is your best asset
7.3) Don't ask other people to dance. Cause it can be assumed, you can't dance. I mean it. You can't dance.
7.5) Never reference Hanson or Parent trap. Either version.
Wall Hanging
8) This is a good spot for you cause you look like you might have been dancing, have a chance to sip your drink, and are just out of the way like you belong.(best to stay near the wall cause your tallest friend convinced you to break the drinking rule)
8.1) This is not a strip club and since it is not please put your eyes back in your head. Sure these people apart of the theme night clockwork orange seem like they would be ok with you staring at their whitey tighties, but no. Know that the younger looking people have bigger & stronger "friends" that will make sure your viewing white eyes become black.
8.5) Don't pick a wall near a speaker or a bathroom. Both have dire repercussions on your senses.
8.7) sitting in the same place all night is creepy. Remember to move around and get your friends drinks
8.8) when against a wall hands partially in the pockets is okay. Putting your hands deep in your pockets because your sweating so much will only make your hands sweat more and will make you a perve.
8.9) don't talk to the wall. No matter how much "Mad Mango Martini" you've had
Navigations:
9) don't go to the back room. You were to young and now your to old
9.1) Pick a floor with a lot of people on it, but don't loose your friends.
9.3) know how to get around the really big people and maintain distance from them, they could be a "normal" like you
Exit
10 ) now that you have spent a night embarrising yourself its time to go. Please exit through the way you came in and don't trip over the stanchines (dumbass). If you do, do not declare it has attacked you and ripped your leather pants. The fact that the people waiting to get in know your crazy and see you went commando. Try not to cry and know that assless chaps would have been great on anyone else but you.
10.3) ask for your money & ID from your friends bra. You will need cash to get home
10.5) make sure you have not gotten a date or given out your number. Have your friend write down the answer to these questions. This will help you the next morning.
10.51) also your in trouble with your girlfriend, your friend screwed you
The Next Day
11) Try and take a shower
11.2) Your meeting started 2 hours ago
11.4) say you your sick and lie lie lie. "You watched the daily show last night, John Stewart is sure funny"
11.6) When you raise up from your desk with the split spiderwebbing to your desk, know that your boss, even while yelling is trying to read the backward stamp on your face that orginally came from your hand.
11.9) Heed my words. Never write this in your blog!

Freakin VH1
Even worse than people given a standing Oh to Britney, worse than Pinks stupid rain coat fashion jacket, & worse that the degradation of a innovative music institute is VH1. "Vh1" you say; "don't we oldies like that channel, it's got nostalgia as its platform, and McGiver, & the buggles are the best." Yes vh1. What a bastard network! They placed a never ending channel overtaking pop ad of the mtv awards on their station for the duration of the award show on mtv. The ad said "why aren't you watching the...awards? Luv, VH1." (Something to that effect). And you know what vh1, I wasn't watchin MTV cause I want to watch a network that might discuss things my age. Which is fuckin old compared to those teenies on mtv. Screw you carson daily! -what Carson daily Is no longer on trl. Damn it! Even my references are to old.
I digress. Overously mtv bought vh1 and controlled them just like they do the tweenes. And you know what its just sick, even though it did make me switch over to confirm that the awards were on the whole time that ad was. We cannot allow network such as mtv & vh1 to share a promoting relationship when they have so much influence over our youth. -Even if they are owned by the same person, which is a whole other issue. Damn it. When did I get old?

RNC
Many people are still indifferent to this fight. I was asked by one of these individuals, "why would they do that, why would they interrupt?". I explained to them that protest were going on all week and it final made its way into the republican castle. This individuals had never really heard about the protesters outside the RNC. This is just insane that people aren't hearing about this. The government really is trying to silence this uprising. Try going to www.protestrnc2008.org and you will get:
"Bandwidth Limit Exceeded
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit. Please try again later.
Apache/2.2.9 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.9 OpenSSL/0.9.7a mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at www.protestrnc2008.org Port 80"
Well thank goodness for youtube and even myspace. There are voices screaming out from these sites showing the horrors of the treatment for those who have a right to protest. See the insanity on youtube by typing in RNC protest. Some of the footage is very shaky and hard to few, but it's because they are being fire upon.

Volume X: The Voice (Reflections of a tiny speech)
"Perhaps perhaps..."
"If you can't make your mind up we'll never get started," America, if u truly love (these united states) give a listen, lend your ear, for the one and only, Barak Obama.
The earth opens from the stage and through the columns reflecting the birth of greek democracy emerges Barak Obama. He walks slowly but with purpose to the podium. The booming excitement from those in the stadium with Barak and those glued to their TVs is electrifying. He can't contain the crowd of 80,000 there nor the millions watching. He wants to get to his speach so he doesn't forget the words or important inflections."Yes, we can", the crowd says, "Yes we can". Finally after a very long standing ovation he gets to speak. He tells the world this: "I accept your nomination for Presidency of these United States." The crowd looses it again like a kid in a candy store, more dreams have come true. He toast to his rival Hillary giving the image of a heroin for the world's "daughters, and his own". He says "now is not the time for small plans", now is the time to educate our children for the future in the "global economy". Barak clearly states that he will do the following: Universal Health Care, education for all of our youth, college tuition that makes sense, bring our troops home, save the economy under the green flag, stop the evil oil empire, power and money back to the blue collars, money for the future, equality for all, and to"change" the United States as we know it. (He carefully uses the United States throughout his speech, he tries not to just use "America"). "Change" he says and this change is "Now". He points out that McCain isn't a bad person he "just doesn't understand". No excuses anymore because McCain and the world will be "educated". These are tall orders in a system that is broken. Some of these promises will not be met or not meet the standards for which people desire. But this man has the backing of so many who work with their hands to make this country great.
If I were a gambler I'd say he is a sure win. I don't think anyone could remembered every word Obama said, but I am sure that one day people will be memorizing this speech. What seems to matter most through all his words is just "hope". We no longer have to be victims; we can take back what is ours. This speech has changed the world.
The other side
-one should always be weary of those who are idolized. The powerful individuals may or may not know their true responsibility. One mistake could lead people down the wrong path. Stepping lightly is just as deadly since your energy can be connoted as force. We should be worried that our faith is in one man. But to be fair, it is that way because the system and elected groups of people have failed us. It seems like it would be hard to know what is for the greater good, but it really isn't. The greater good is this: whatever is best for human and earth's survival. As the dominate species we must protect our resources and we as a species must have equality for all. The future can only bring something different for human kind, we must be ready and stand together. If that means let one man be our voice, then let that man seem righteous and true. Give the name back to the Red, White, & Blue!
So I seem a little preachy, but my hope is that people will start to grab the energy that is going around and really make a difference. To make "change" before we loose "hope" again.

Mirror me-Volume 26
I got out of the R train at the 25th stop in Brooklyn; I was on my way to play music at a local dive. On the platform moved a boy of equal age. He had hipster jeans on and a white t'; the glasses he wore had stylish lenses but no frames. But, most wouldn't have notice his apparel or accessories; most would of notice his walk or lack there of. His left leg rose like a turning crane, and rotated like an oval crank. He had to think each time he stepped how his leg would go up and down. Not left, right, left, no, there was no rhythm, just go. He let falling forward become perpetual progression. His legs made a jerking violent motion each time his left foot hit the concrete floor. The rest of his body followed with misbalance and a twitch.
I went behind him through the open subway gate, just off the platform. He made his way towards the stairs amongst the others who left the train. When he got the base of the stairs he just stopped. Leaving the focus on his feet, he turned his eyes up, then his head, and just looked up. The light from outside silhouetted his misshapen stance and lit a tiny part of his facial expression. His eyes were wide and his mouth was partially open, connoting surprised displeasure. Looking at the 32 steps that lay before him, he fearfully calculated the rise & run of each stair. Step 27 looks like it bends, making it about a 1/2inch lower than the rest. His eyes seemed to like Step 27 the best out of the 32. I didn't pass him like all the rest. I just blocked the on slot of skinny & sometime large people from bumping him out of his thoughts. Then he began the assent that for most takes at most 30secs. He began boldly with his left leg; he swung his hip joint forward & once his hands grasp the rail, he was off. 1,2,3 rest; 4,5,6 rest; 7, rest. His arms began to shake from the weight of dragging his body. He seemed okay at first climbing like he had walk in a slowing Top manner, wobbling, but somehow staying upright. Between the 10th & 11th step the motion of moving forward became too much. He used the power of his right legs & arms to drag his unwilling left leg the rest of the way. It was brutal to watch, but the world didn't stop. The pressing amount of people made it hard to protect him. The wave of girth-ful individuals would have surly sent his crashing down his mountain. But he had no time to notice the people around him, his task was the hardest compared to all the worlds chaos. Upon his reaching the top the sun lit his face in a blinding manner, making the last few stairs more treacherous. But we he made it, even in his disorientation, he smiled. The monumental task had been complete and he had been victorious.
He took a right to the corner awaiting the light to change. I preceded strait thinking of the strength I had just witnessed. A disability had been overcome he was like everyone. I myself had disabilities that I still needed to overcome. I kept going strait, but them I stopped. I turned and just as the hero made his way onto the median, something happened. Although he had made the 32 steps-loving that 27th step-the rise of the slab of concrete median was one step to many. He had begun boldly again with his left leg, but this time he had not taken time to calculate the rise. His shoe caught the broken corner of the almost right angle piece dividing the roads. Upon this catch the perpetual motion that had helped his assent, brutalized his decent. He fell, fell hard. Barely getting one hand to his protect his face, he hit the pavement and was defeated. He lay motionless as every person who pretended to ignore his disability in the subway tunnel ran to save him. Bolting from every direction the fat guy, the crack heads, the MTA employee, the hipster, myself. The MTA guy got there first. He picked up this broken individual & brought him to his feet. My hero looked shocked to not be on the ground and dismayed with embarrassment. Then he checked himself to make sure he was okay. He looked used to checking himself for damage. First looking for spots of blood, then checking his cloths for holes, and then wiggling his appendages to make sure things worked. He gave a shy wave just as I finally reached him. He moused out “I'm okay, I'm okay.” He continued to repeat this phrase, like a broken record, as he geared up to continue on his way.
He began again crossing the street. Some individuals and myself acted as crossing-guards cause the light had changed. We kept our distance pretending we were just walking not protecting. The rest who had noticed his fall went back to their previous task. I walked with him for just a moment after he reached the new side of the street. I started to walk at my normal pace and passed him. Once I created distance from him, I began to reflect: how hard an existence, how powerful, and how...My thoughts were interrupted by another conversation involving a shopkeeper; Who said: “that accident changed that boy…so sad...so sad.” The weight of words fell into my stomach. I could have been that disabled individual; I could be looked upon with voyeuristic admiration or felt the embarrassment of a debacle’d simple task, or be seen as something just “sad”. Maybe I am that boy, just wanting to be normal.
I walked onto my destination with the guilt that my injuries were not as noticeable and that I still want sympathy.
