A Real Super Congress

Huffington Post this morning front page headline is: 'A Radical Idea'; and radical is right! The solution for the debt ceiling crisis has nothing to do with spending cuts anymore, it has everything to do with 'power'; extreme power! Huff Post reports Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) together decided that a new legislative body had to be formed that includes 12 members - 12 lawmakers, 6 from each, house 6 from each party (we currently have 4 parties in government right now). This is insane! To start this legislative branch would not be elected by the people and would have the power to push through bills 'super' fast through the other branches of government. This means that any new elected official or anyone who's not apart of the '12' are pushed out of the way. Both the Minority leader and Majority leader should be ashamed of themselves because this act seems (is) criminal. Currently the republicans have been shoveling the worst forms of stupidity in federal, state, and local branches of government. To give anyone of these crazy people more power is just insane! Some people may use the Supreme Court as an example for this type of authority. It is a branch of the judicial system that has members not directly elected by the public and has 'super' power. Well, just look at Citizens United as a clear example how such power is easily corruptible. This power seems like a simple way to not only strip the powers of newly elected or un-liked elected officials in both houses, this seems like a way to neuter the presidential powers. Why did this issue not come up when King George was wreaking havoc on the planet? I'll let you guess why and all go ahead and put out that race is a clear factor. Even worse is looks like it might be part of a vast conspiracy to rearrange government for an alterior motive that is not 'for the people' or 'by the people'.

Dear People of America and Branches of Government,

DO NOT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN!

Last View of the Space Shuttle

It is a sad day because the shuttle program is ending.
This is the shuttle hitting the earth atmosphere for the last time.
I assume this was taken by the mysterious people that live on the moon.
