Your Wed: Frighteners at Pacific Standard

In honor of this Wed Showing of The Frighteners at Pacific Standard thought it best to talk about the movie.

Back before the "Lord of the Rings" Peter Jackson wrote, directed, and produced a piece called the Frighteners. The Frighteners was originally suppose to be a short for 'Tales from the Crypt', but another producer, Robert Zemeckis, thought it be best as a full link feature. This may or may not have been a pour assumption, since people either love this movie cause it's so bad or have never heard of this move cause it's so bad. When I say bad, I mean fun bad. Even when parts of the film get really scary you easily see how goofy the situations are. The Frighteners may not be Peter's or Michael's, but it is funny and interesting.
